REMINDER from Mano:

You each have a spiritual team and we have plans we would like to bring forth through you. We know your strengths and weakness, and have to be very patient and even clever to get you to see and agree with our plans.

REMARKS from Barbara:

At this point I don’t know if I actually felt inadequate to write a blog, or was just lazy. As it has turned out I love working with Mano and am very pleased to have produced more than 100 blogs.

REMEMBERING Mary Jane:

When Mano asked me to write his blog I felt so unprepared. There was no question only a clear, definite no. Then holding focus on his intention he suggested Mary Jane and I could see how perfect she would be and said a big Yes.

Mother Earth, Mother of All

Blog #129

Early one morning Jim and I were driving from England to Switzerland. We were traveling through Reims France. As we drove by the massive Reims Cathedral I wanted to stop and go in.  Jim said that we did not have time and had to keep going. This did not sit well in my heart.

I told him I needed exercise and if he would park I would RUN to the cathedral, RUN through the cathedral and RUN back to the car. He agreed and I started my run across wet grass, into the entrance, slowing down a little bit since there were worshipers sitting in the pews. This Cathedral has a stained glass window by Marc Chagall. I ran to it and stopped with my arms out to my sides to drink in the colors and design, then I ran on to the next portico with a beautiful life size statue of Mary and Jesus. I stopped and took a deep breath, drawing them into my heart as I turned to leave, and as I passed back into the isle I had a ‘download’ of information I felt came from Mary.

In essence she told me that every painting and statue of the mother and child in addition and beyond portraying and worshiping Mary and Jesus was the truth and revelation that Mary represented Mother Earth and Jesus represented Humanity. Saying the Mother Earth loves humanity as a mother loves her child and Jesus as the Christ represents the potential of each human being to grow spiritually into the likeness of our heavenly Father/Mother and become a Christ within.

I was overwhelmed with this revelation and as I left the cathedral the outside portico had statues of angels sculpted into the wall and ceiling and one was smiling, famously known as the Smiling Angel. As I saw the angel smile, I almost felt she winked at me beyond her smile saying, “You have been told a great secret. Honor this treasure and live accordingly.”

As I look back, I think my love of Mother Earth and feeling it was her voice I heard while living in San Luis Obispo sitting outside watching the stars leave the sky and the light of the sun take over the day. The words I heard were, “Barbara, I do not need you in San Luis Obispo any longer. I need you on the mountain.”

Jim and I put our house up for sale that day and started transforming our little rustic cabin in Ben Lomond into a cottage with fireplace for heat and skylights for light and closets for clothes and storage.

I believe the Call to the Mountain was actually a call to The Amphitheater, a holy piece of land we had been honored to buy two years earlier. I feel I as a human was invited to connect with Mother Earth daily and over the years she introduced me to her elemental children: the Gnomes of the earth, the Fairy of the air, the Sylph and Sprites of the water and the Salamanders of the fire.

I have walked to the Amphitheater over 7,000 times and offered International Circle Dance monthly for 22 years. As I move into my elder years others are now leading the dance three times each summer. For 7 years I drove my Kawasaki vehicle to the amphitheater daily to sit with Mother Earth, and the beings of the land, and do an ink stick drawing of the land. This all stopped when the CZU fire took my sweet cottage in 2020 and I moved to Capitola while my new house was being built.

The afternoon we moved to the mountain I walked to the Amphitheater and was greeted by a large gnome who was walking beside me. He told me his name is Mano. From that time on I met Mano daily as I visited The Mother in the Amphitheater. He has guided me to open The Council of Gnomes when going to the studio. And later guided Mary Jane Di Piero and me to create this Blog.

Barbara, Such a sweet and moving story, I too am a Mary and Jesus devotee, and I ask the Holy Spirit regularly for direction. Also, I occasionally receive Reiki sessions w/ Rev, Michele DeMoulin who has an institute called Fiama De Amor, Living, Love, and Light. I’ll send her channeled prayer from the Blessed Mother Mary, Archangel Michael, and Beloved Ones. I’s a powerful gift to teach, bless, and protect.
