The Trees Cried When Mary Jane Died

The Trees Cried When Mary Jane Died

On June 15, 2018, Mary Jane died around 5 in the morning

I was sure she would open her eyes

I cry

I am so grateful for her regal presence in my life

For the enormous gifts:

LAUNCHING MANO into the world

By writing the Council of Gnomes Blog

LAUNCHING me into the world

By beautifully compiling and editing my book

Living with the Spirits of the Land

Mary Jane left around 5:00 in the morning

My Books arrived from the printer around 5:00 in the afternoon

I felt the call to go to the Amphitheater

I sat on a sheep skin in the middle of the Amphitheater and cried

The weather was misty and as water dripped on my face

I felt the trees were crying with me

I wrote these words:

It is raining – almost

The skies are crying

for Mary Jane’s crossing

Celebrating her life

And adding to my tears

of gratitude and appreciation

Her presence and willingness

have made my connection

between human and nature known

and hopefully will inspired others

to connect with nature on their own

In their own way

The way that is right for them

I will continue presenting the Blog Mary Jane, Mano, and I created.

Last April Mano suggested we review the early teachings.

I look forward to doing this as an easy way to get involved with sharing Mano’s teaching and my experiences with you.

Thank you for your lovely recounting, Barbara. Such a beautiful testimony for Mary Jane. And so fitting to take your grief to the trees and the spirits of the land that surround you.
    Blessings all around.
