Trees

painting by Barbara Thomas

REMINDER from Mano:

Today’s blog was a deep challenge for Barbara. Her mind kept wandering as she read the work written and forgotten from long ago. We need to continue to bring current our 40 years of working together.

REMARKS from Barbara:

The truth for me is, I deeply appreciate and am grateful when I remember and relearn their teachings over and over.

REMEMBERING Mary Jane:

I have been reading Mary Jane’s Blogs with the desire to see this work with Mano, gnomes, and Mother Nature through her “beginner” eyes.

Trees

Blog #152

While sorting through papers to bring order in my sitting area I found a small stack of papers held together with a red paper clip entitled TREES. I want to share some of these stories with you. These papers were written between 1996 and 2001.

When I returned to the mountain after my sweet cottage burned in the CZU Fire in 2020 and I moved into my new wonderful home on July 2, 2023, I was very sick and took a long time to recover. I have not gone to the Amphitheater very often. I spend my outside time in my fire-recovered yard, relating mostly with a mature group of redwoods living in a clump in my garden.

The stories I share today were written when I first began learning and relating more deeply with a new dimension of Tree Consciousness available while visiting the Amphitheater.

I have been told, “The Redwood Tree is your strength, your identity. We want to be more involved in your consciousness. We hold in trust for you your Deva Consciousness. The time is ripe and you are ready. Your Deva Nature is developing (remembered) clear enough to take the next revelation.”

The Redwood Tree continued to teach me, “You are mothered by the Redwood Trees. By the Deva of the Redwoods. Some of our species have been present from the beginning of Earth.

“When you were here at that time and had to leave for reasons beyond your control, you implanted and entrusted a part of your knowing into the presence of the Redwood Deva to hold on trust for the Age when you returned and the cycles of planets and stars returned to that point of galactic opening.”

“When you see a feminine face in the trunk of a tree, it is the Mother. When you see a masculine form, it is the individual spirit of that tree, mountain, etc. We have as much work to do on our side as you do on yours to accomplish this task. We are parts of your Self looking to see if your gates are open so we can return home.”

The Tree Being, speaking like a Dutch Uncle, “Stop blowing with every wind. Find your core being and hold to that. You are too structured/fractured. See the tree. It looks solid and yet within is flow and life and joy.”

I saw an elf face in a tree, “We are here, Barbara. Stand tall within your spirit and know that you belong.”

I continued to speak to the large redwood tree as I entered the Amphitheater. I call her The Mother Tree. She has told me, “Redwood Trees are your strength. Sit with us often.” One day I felt her reach out and invite me to lean into her body, step into her body and look out from inside.

As I looked around the Amphitheater, I saw a gnome inside the trunk of the large Madrone that lives in the center of the Amphitheater. I said hello and he said hello in return.  He said his name is Glorious. I continued a conversation with him for months each time I came.  A huge wind storm came and branches fell from the Madrone tree. The part of the trunk where Glorious lived was not hurt but he was no longer present and has never returned.

One day as I lay on the ground in front of a Redwood Tree, a gentle breeze came up and moved around me. “Your life in the beginning had no limit of years. Your leaving was by choice and necessity so you could return in mortal body.”

The Redwood Deva told me to lie down between the madrone trees and hold my mind quiet. When I closed my eyes I saw a bunch of little elves (1/2 to 1” tall) looking at my body. “Isn’t this a curious lot?” one said about my body. They opened and removed dried cells or seeds. Pulled out a long piece of cloth stuffed into my lower abdomen on the left side. They gave it to the birds who flew with it like a banner. They opened my heart chakra, poured something in with a funnel, like gold fluid.

I share these stories with you always with the hope and heart desire that you too will answer Mother Nature’s call to interact more heartfully with all of her children. To take time to love and feel Nature’s love for you.

In closing, I share a poem my dear friend Marsi Lawson wrote when she first met me many years ago:

In the Forest Clearing

In the forest clearing a woman waited
She was part of this sacred space
She had answered the calling of her soul
In this forest clearing she sat among angels, fairies, and friendly gnomes
If you saw her paintings
You would………understand.

    Happy New Year Barbara!
Wonderful poem. I have mostly oak and pine trees 🌲 around my property. I do have two large mulberry trees and one of them told me he was 47 years old. I do love Redwood Forests, especially with a carpet of ferns coving the forest floor. I wish you all the best in 2026!

    Hello dear Barbara,

We live in Placerville CA, with a magnificent view of the Chrystal Range of the Sierra. We have many varied trees on our 5 acres, and I’m grateful that you are reminding me to interact lovingly with them. They bless us, and you are reminding me to bless THEM.

So lovley to hear from you again.

    Warmly,
    Marsha Johnson
