REMINDER from Mano:
Whether you know it or not, believe it or not, you are surrounded by Spiritual Beings who watch over you, protect you, and guide you in complex and simple ways.
REMARKS from Barbara:
Sometimes I think I have too many gnome and angel ceramic and stuffed images around the house. People bring them to me as gifts and I put them on window edges, table tops, and chairs. Last week Mano told me it was helpful to the nature spirits in the yard to have these figures in the house. It gives them a place to land within the house if they want to come in.
Years ago, my friend Patricia told me of a time she visited her son in collage and saw a little gnome figure sitting on the book case. When her son left the room, the figure became alive and spoke to Patricia about her son. When the boy returned to the room the little gnome shifted back into the stuffed doll, no longer a living being.
The closest I have had to an experience like that is watching a little ceramic gnome smile when I washed him under the warm water in the sink.
REMEMBERING Mary Jane:
Mano expresses eternal gratitude to Mary Jane for being willing to write his blog for him and gratitude that Barbara has followed along when Mary Jane was no longer able to do it. He is willing to speak to each of you if you are willing.
Loving Kindness
Blog #151
Every morning for the last 20 years I do a three card Tarot reading. I type it into the computer and my Council, Rama (an angel), Mano (a gnome), and Joseph (of the Faerie Consciousness) guide my thinking and I write the interpretation into the computer. If I have questions, I write them into the computer and someone from the Council give me the answer. If I have any question about what I receive, I use my pendulum and get a yes or no answer to verify the accuracy of my hearing their guidance.
There is a little more to tell you of my Council. There are two more groups of beings that also work with me. A group of little gnomes that like to be known as “The Workers” help me when I ask to find lost items, and “The Companions,” a group of mature Faerie Beings who silently are present to keep me safe in amazing ways. I seldom recognize their presence.
Years ago, sitting at the breakfast table I became aware of a mature Faerie Spirit sitting in every seat in the house, four at the table with me, five on the couch, two more by the fireplace. They didn’t speak or give me any idea why they were there, or what they might want from me.
The next morning, I was walking with a friend over my land. We were blessing each of the directions and beings that live in the North, South, East, West, and the Center. As we walked, we talked until we arrived at our destination. Then we offered gifts and prayers for the Beings that watch over my land. My friend and I chatted as we walked, I was telling her a story of a neighbor and stepped on a stick which twisted my ankle, and as I fell I heard a clear inner voice say, “This is a gift Barbara.” I broke my leg in the fall and was in bed for 7 months.
The “Gift” turned out to be some important information. As I listened to Spiritual Teachings while in bed, I was told about THE HARMFUL HUMAN HABIT. Saying humans have the habit of criticism, condemnation, judgment, blame, and gossip. Hearing those words, I had a flash of inner awareness—this is the GIFT Spirit named when I fell. I realized I did have the habit and while chatting with my friend in the midst of the fall, I was telling her what I thought was a funny story about my neighbor. I was shocked to realize that I was engaging in three of the five “Harmful Human Habits.”
Needless to say, I do my best to avoid the Harmful Human Habits and realize how important it is to maintain a heart of loving kindness.
Years later I learned a Zen prayer that I have learned to pray for myself and others in need.
I learned this prayer when Jim was in India. I repeated this as a mantra as I worked around the house.
MAY I BE FILLED WITH LOVING KINDNESS
May I be well.
May I be peaceful and at ease.
May I be happy.
Then for Jim:
May Jim be filled with Loving Kindness.
May he be well.
May he be peaceful and at ease.
May he be happy.
When Jim returned home after a month away I realized I had a new inner feeling within me. It took a while before I could name the feeling. I was surprised and really happy to identify the feeling as Loving Kindness.
And so now I offer this same prayer for each of you, with gratitude for your Loving Kindness and interest in the stories and information Mano has me share with you.
Dear Mummy

I’m thankful to hear from you, Barbara. I’ve been missing your sharing and am grateful to know that you have recovered from your fall.
Blessings and continued well-being,

Hello Barbara,
One of my friends long ago said that a Gnome had told her that Gnomes are amused by all the Gnome statuary in peoples yards! I still have quite a few Gnomes in the yard and in the house, but had to thin out my collection when I downsized. Thank you for sharing the information on the harmful human habits and sharing the prayer! Happy Holidays!
