REMINDER from Mano:
We have taken Barbara on big steps of learning today, new things to learn that Gretchen has been teaching her about the computer. It is always important to be willing to learn and if you are going to work with angels, elemental and spiritual beings, this is especially called upon you to grow and expand and always we appreciate Barbara’s willingness.
REMARKS from Barbara:
Mano had Gretchen my secretary have me use the microphone to have the computer print my words as I spoke.
REMEMBERING Mary Jane:
I bet Mary Jane would have done it without all of the trauma I felt as I did it. And…..I did do it.
Meeting God
Blog #160
I had a most wonderful experience last month. I was invited to speak at the JFO Retreat Week at JFO Lake Tahoe. I spoke for an hour on my loved subject of Angel, Gnome, and Mother Earth.
JFO (Journey Farthest Out) came about as a more metaphysical branch in California of the older organization, CFO (Camp Farthest Out), which is known throughout the USA and is more fundamental. JFO has three camps in California: Mt Lassen, Aptos (Santa Cruz area), and Lake Tahoe. It is a gathering together of Interdenominational Christian Adult Camp toning Body, Mind, and Spirit to become an Athlete of the Spirit. I have attended almost yearly for 64 years.
I am going to give you ways to connect with these camps. Hoping you will give yourself this tremendous gift to attend Camp:
- Mt Lassen JFO (Adult and family camp)
- Pacific Redwood JFO (adult and family camp Santa Cruz area)
- Tahoe JFO (adults)
My talk and I were well received. I have known many of these people, ready for retirement, since they were little kids in camp, (remember I am now 99).
First Camp experience – AUTUMN CFO at Riverside Mission Inn
Around 1962, Agnes Sandford was speaking at Autumn CFO, and I went to hear her, after reading her book, Healing Light. I had a direct experience of healing a stone bruise in my foot by the guidance that that she gave.
This was a time the pentecostal way of praying by speaking in tongues was moving through churches and organizations. At one of the early meetings a man spoke a prayer in tongues in a very loud voice. A woman stood at the opposite side of the room and interpreted, in a very loud voice, what the man just said, “Oh how I love you. I have loved you from the beginning of time. I have loved you and you have known me not.”
I was so filled with love. My heart expanded and I started crying. Tears ran out of my eyes. My nose ran. I didn’t have a Kleenex. I didn’t have a handkerchief, and I looked on the floor and there at my feet was a brand new lady’s handkerchief folded neatly waiting to hold my tears.
Every part of camp, the creative writing, creative art, singing prayer groups, all open my heart to a greater dimension of receiving God’s love.As I left camp a week later, I realized I thought I was going to hear Agnes Sanford speak, but God had other plans. God wanted me to know how much God loves me and how much God watches over me and cares for me always. I came home totally committed to God.This was my first adventure of going farther out with God. I attended camps with my family every year from this time on.
